Beautiful Fashion Designs by Antonio Castillo in the 1960s

Born 1908 in Madrid, Spanish fashion and costume designer Antonio Castillo had his career spanning over three decades. He is recognized for his prolific work across stage and screen, as well as fashion.

Castillo won the Academy Award for Best Costume Design, which he shared with Yvonne Blake for their work on Franklin J. Schaffner’s epic period drama film Nicholas and Alexandra (1971).

Castillo died in 1984 in Madrid, aged 75. These beautiful photos captured portraits of classic beauties wearing fashion designs by Antonio Castillo in the 1960s.
