Many don’t know, but Colorado is home to Indiana Jones himself. In Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade, (1989) Henry Jones Jr. traveled to his father’s home in Antonito, Colorado. The house he visited in the movie still stands today!
Near the beginning of the movie a young Indiana Jones, played by River Phoenix, has several scenes in the house that help to set up the back story of where and when the action oriented archaeologist obtained his signature fedora.
The house, built in 1888, has since been kept by a number of individuals, eventually turning into an Indiana Jones themed Bed and Breakfast, and you can book a room for yourself and relive some movie history.
