This one-of-a-kind 400-horsepower 140-mph show car made its debut at the New York auto show in 1958, where its current owner, Fred Kanter of Kanter Auto Products, saw it in person at age 13 and fell in love.
Just 19 years later, Kanter managed to buy his dream car for $7000. Today it's worth tops six figures, but he still drives it, “My kids are more valuable than my cars, and I let them out of the house,” says Kanter.
The car is built on the chassis of a 1957 Chrysler 300. Here below is a set of beautiful photos of 1958 Dual-Ghia 400.
