Life will be a lot pleasanter for crippled children, thanks to the bed loom shown here, the invention of Margaret Greave, of the Riley Hospital for Crippled Children, in Indianapolis, in 1940. Miss Greave was shown teaching a young patient how to operate the loom. With it, Miss Greave won the first place award of the National Association of Occupational Therapists for the outstanding contribution of the year.
