The tweter was a fashion gimmick introduced in 1963. It continued to be sold for about a year before the public lost interest.

I actually remember my parents telling me about quirky fashion trends from the past, like this “tweter.” It sounds hilarious but also kind of sweet—sharing a sweater with someone else must have been a funny experience. I doubt I’d want to wear one now, but it’s cool to see how creative (and goofy) people can get with fashion.
