30 Vintage Snapshots Capture People in the Living Rooms in the 1970s

Infamous for its playfulness and carefree, cheesy style, the 1970s was nevertheless a very aesthetically influential decade.

Interior design in the 1970s certainly had its quirks. It was a decade defined by wall-to-wall shag carpeting, funky technicolor furniture, and knickknacks galore.

  1. Number 20 with the two kids playing the Pong console. We had video games then but only just. VCRs were out but rare at the time. Tellies seemed naked without them just by the 90s.

    Though pic 14 with the fancy hifi is quite something. Wonder how much that lot now goes for on the retro market.
