Marilyn Monroe, 20th century starlet who was recently selected “Cheesecake Queen of 1952,” looks as delicious as any confection as she plunges a sword into a cheesecake.
Lovely Marilyn reigned at a party given by Michael Gaszynski, former Polish diplomat who was celebrating passing of his final American citizenship examinations on August 3, 1951. The party was held at the Farmer’s Market in Hollywood.
Marilyn won “Miss Cheescake of the Year” award in 1951 and “Cheesecake Queen of 1952.” Both awards were given by Stars and Stripes magazine.
