Wonderful Color Photos Capture Everyday Life in Northern Germany in the Early 1960s

Lower Saxony is a German state situated in northwestern Germany. Lower Saxony’s major cities and economic centers are mainly situated in its central and southern parts, namely Hanover, Braunschweig, Osnabrück, Wolfsburg, Salzgitter, Hildesheim and Göttingen.

Florida-based photographer Roger W. took these amazing photos between August 1960 and April 1961, from his time in the U.S. Army in Germany, when he was in Heidwinkel.
