A Marilyn Monroe's ID Card, 1954
Laminated with a black and white photograph of the star in the upper left-side corner, a date of “8 Feb. 1954,” and a typed name of “DiMaggio, Norma Jeane;” Monroe’s signature using this name is penned in blue fountain pen ink on the lower right-side corner.
Back of card shows her two finger prints as well as her personal statistics: “Height [5’5 1/2”], Weight [118], Color of Hair [Blonde], Color of Eyes [Blue], Religion [None], Blood Type [Unk], Date of Birth [1 June 26].”
Though this ID card has been reproduced as a souvenir item and sold in stores and has also been seen in many books, this piece appears to be the actual one that Monroe used when she performed for the troops in Korea while she and Joe DiMaggio were on their honeymoon.

The Dancer From the Dance: 20 Stunning Vintage Photographs of Margaret Morris From the 1920s
Margaret Morris (1891-1980) was a British dancer, choreographer and teacher. She was the first proponent of the Isadora Duncan technique in Great Britain. She founded the Margaret Morris Movement, Celtic Ballet, and two Scottish National Ballets in Glasgow (1947) and in Pitlochry (1960).
Morris had been dancing from a very young age and by the precocious age of 12 had begun to reject the strictures of classical ballet. In 1909 she met Raymond Duncan, brother of Isadora Duncan, who taught her the six Greek positions, adapted from images on ancient Greek vases. She elaborated on these to produce her own dance system aiming at naturalism and freedom.
