For many classic clothing enthusiasts, the 1930s are the epitome of style, and the decade is considered to be the “Golden Age of Menswear.”
In the 1930s, men typically wore suits with wide, padded shoulders, narrow waists, and wide lapels. Trousers were high-waisted and often featured cuffs and pleats. Casual wear included knitwear like sweaters, polo shirts, and vests. Accessories such as fedoras, ties, and pocket squares were common, completing a polished and sophisticated look.
Men also wore double-breasted suits, trench coats, and leather jackets. For formal occasions, tuxedos with bow ties were standard. Casual summer wear often included short-sleeve shirts and linen pants. Footwear included oxfords, brogues, and loafers.
