Long before Hailey became Mrs. Bieber, she met the “Love Yourself” singer for the first time during a meet-and-greet at the Today show in November 2009. At the time, 12-year-old Hailey was with her father, Stephen Baldwin, who helped introduce her to the famous singer. The interaction was short but helped to lay a foundation for the pair’s strong friendship and eventual relationship.
“This is my daughter Hailey,” Stephen can be heard telling Bieber in the clip. “We’ve been enjoying your music.” At the time, Halley seemed embarrassed by the interaction, adorably keeping a serious expression on her face as she shook hands with the singer and said, “Nice to meet you.” Little did she know that someday he'd be her future husband!
