Gorgeous Photos of Sharon Lynn in the 1920s and ’30s

Born 1901 as D’Auvergne Sharon Lindsay in Weatherford, Texas, American actress and singer Sharon Lynn made her debut in Curlytop in 1924 as Annie, and after appearing in several silent films, she debuted in talking pictures in Speakeasy (1929).


After her best known film role opposite Laurel and Hardy in Way Out West, Lynn made only one more film, a musical made in Britain, Thistledown, and then retired from the screen.

Lynn died in 1963 at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital, at age 62 of multiple sclerosis. Take a look at these gorgeous photos to see the beauty of young Sharon Lynn in the 1920s and 1930s.
