The term ‘Friendsgiving’ might be relatively new but the alternative Thanksgiving with friends certainly isn’t, as this particularly starry gathering at the Troubadour in Los Angeles, California shows. The 1973 Thanksgiving meal saw the club filled with long tables, seated with guests including John Lennon, The Monkees’ Micky Dolenz, Alice Cooper, Harry Nilsson, Anne Murray and among others.
