Before the now silver fox shot to fame George Clooney wore a mullet when he was about 24 years old in the television series The Facts of Life (1979-1988) where he played a handyman in the 6th and 7th season and was a recurring character in later series. Before he was cast on this show he was an extra on the television mini-series Centennial in 1978, which was partly filmed in his hometown of Kentucky.
Clooney’s first major role was in 1984, playing in E/R, the short lived drama sitcom (not to be confused with ER). After this he played on The Facts of Life where it is his greatest achievement in his career as it was the real kickstart to Clooney’s career and achievements because of his great hair, which includes being the face of ER, being respected all over the world and winning the Sexiest Man Alive in 1997 and 2006.
