A Repeating “Flashbulb”, 1941

The dream of photographers for years, here at last was a repeating “flashbulb”— and it was an extremely high-speed flashbulb, too. Whereas ordinary flashes take photos at from 1/20th to 1/200th of a second, this shoots at 1/20,000th! Made by Edgerton in 1941, it uses a portable power unit.
