1956 was a successful year for the Swedish legendary actress Ingrid Bergman. After separating from Rossellini, Bergman starred in three box office hits within the same year: Elena and Her Men, Tea and Sympathy and Anastasia. With her role in Anastasia, Bergman made a triumphant return to Hollywood studio and won the Academy Award for Best Actress for a second time. The film's director, Anatole Litvak, described her as “one of the greatest actresses in the world”.
