Glamorous Portraits of Classic Beauties Taken by Bert Six in the 1940s and ’50s

Born 1902 in Missouri, Warner Bros. photographer Bert Six was best known for his glamour shots of Hollywood actresses. Six began his career at Warner Bros. in 1934, and became head of the still department in 1945.

Among the famous actors Six photographed including Bette Davis, Joan Fontaine, Joan Crawford, Eve Arden, Jack Benny... He died in 1967 in Los Angeles, California at the age of 65.
