Maybe it’s the bulging tights that elevate these from campy to creepy. Maybe it’s their eyes. Maybe it’s the unshakeable feeling that these children never forgot the day these pictures will taken. The photographs were shared by folks across the Plaid Stallions website sharing their childhood mall appearances from the 1970s and 1980s.
Some of those costumes are so shoddy, and that 'stash on Batman is hilarious!

ReplyDeleteWow. The Frankenstein's monster pics brought back a memory of me. I was with my parents somewhere in upstate New York in the early '70s and we walked passed a wax museum. There was man dressed as Frankenstein out front and when we walked by he messed up my hair (like in one of the pics here!).
