Failure to cope with growing air pollution problems could have adverse affects on the health of every man, woman and child in metropolitan areas. So far, there’s no adequate protection for city dwellers against poisonous auto exhausts, industrial gases, a smog and other vaporous impurities. If the situation worsens, as some scientists predict, our only safeguard may be equipping everyone in the family with gas masks for the daily trek to work and to school. Black magic again!
