Before anyone get their feelings hurt, remember this is all about good and bad design. It seems that anyone and everyone could make a record about anything – and we’re all better for it.
While looking through bad album cover design, we noticed how some of the cover models must have thought how goddamn hot they looked or that the persona they chose for themselves was one of pure sex and charisma and they just had to share it with the world.

I have to comment on the Mike Terry one. He was (is?) a comedian who played piano, pretended to the North's answer to Liberace and was hilarious! Saw him many times in Blackpool at the end-of-the-pier shows. I'm pretty sure it wasn't intended to be in the least bit sexy!
ReplyDeleteMany of these covers were not intended to be sexy. A lot of it is simply gay and trans shaming.
ReplyDeleteSexy in men is different... Yes, to be honest, the men in the photos are even disgusting, although this is not their fault, but the photographer’s with his own idea.
