The Afghanery: Wonderful Afghan Knitting Patterns From the 1970s

This needlework booklet from Spinnerin contains some wonderful slices of seventies fashion gold – featuring groovy chicks and superstuds wrapped in crochet splendor.

The booklet was scanned by Retro Hound and has many wonderful patterns for Afghans in knit, crochet and Afghan stitch. The American Indian blanket is particularly popular. Besides the double wedding ring and Pennsylvania Dutch there is a Lone Star pattern in Afghan stitch. Several typical 1970’s patterns.
