From January of 1978 to April of 1979, photographer Dinanda Nooney photographed around 200 homes, coming out with nearly 2000 photos of Brooklynites in their natural habitats.
These photographs – the people, the architecture, the decor, the crazy '70s outfits – are hands-down-amazing, and hammer home the point that there have been cool people living in Brooklyn long before you.
