Big Hair is so groovy (LOL)
ReplyDeleteSchools enforced strict but reasonable dress codes at the time. Girls were required to dress like proper young ladies in modest dresses or skirts and blouses and boys were required to dress like respectable, chivalrous gentlemen in dress slacks and shirts and short, neatly trimmed hair. This encouraged them to behave accordingly and no one ever complained.
