These photos are from "TeddyBär", a collection owned by Jean-Marie Donat and they date back to between the end of World War I and sometime in the late 1960s. The photographs were taken in Germany of anonymous people posing alongside actors dressed as polar bears. They offer a unique glimpse in to the lives of everyday Germans of the time.
