For how many years on dwelling the earth, living the life adulthood, stressful responsibilities often make us think going back to childhood, especially the years where we meet our first best-friend, our first crush and other stuff that detaches us from the pollution of liabilities. But things doesn’t work that way.
Well, even though going back to be a kid again isn’t possible, we are gifted with memories that make us cherish those days. We will start remembering those days with these following vintage class photos of different schools in the 1950s.

ReplyDeleteinteresting images. I hope they really were as happy as they seem.
ReplyDeleteMy name is Mark Reynolds. I live in a suburb of Detroit, Mi. I graduated from high school in Jan. of 1970, packed a backpack, drove to San Francisco, and flew to Honolulu where I was picked up hitching by 3 graduate students from the Univ. of Hawaii. They put me up in their dorm for several weeks and at one point I flew to Kauai and hitchhiked to the end of the road - the Haiena (sp) - Kalalau trailhead was to the left and Taylor Camp was to the right. Guys - I was there! I saw the camp and met some of the people! I was at the Taylor camp in 1970 (maybe '71). I continued on to Kalalau Beech and camped for a few days. There was a guy from Australia, Trader Bill, who had a whole camp set up on the stream in the valley by the caves on Kalalua Beach.
ReplyDeleteI have several photos from that trip - tho' none of Taylor Camp. Traded some batteries for some orange Sunshine.
Honestly folks, this is very cosmic!
