Thomas Billhardt is a German photographer and publicist. The trade of his photography was something he learned from his mother.
Billhardt's photographs are well known global. He has seen and experienced a vast amount of the world. Most people could cope with the dead of children in Vietnam, the starving in Bangladesh, the fear of death in the eyes of victims of war in Sarajevo. His photographs relentlessly force us to see. Every single photograph was affecting us, and seen in total, should cause us to consider the events they represent earnestly.

"I’ve captured the joy and suffering of people wherever I’ve been from the natural gas fields of the former USSR to the enemy line in Vietnam," he says.
