Robin Williams and Christopher Reeve made quite the duo at the Juillard School in New York City. They grew close after the two were the only students selected for Juilliard's Advanced Program in 1973. The pair took several classes together and eventually decided to move in together.
In the late seventies, Christopher Reeve landed his first leading movie role as Superman. In the early eighties, Robin Williams landed his first leading movie role as Popeye. These two former roommates and good friends launched their movie careers playing two different heroes, who stood for all that was right and good.
