It's interesting to look at these pictures and contrast them with the Berlin color photos posted on Wednesday, 23 November 2012. Seeing those pics without any captions would leave one thinking that everywhere one looked there would be a National Socialist symbol someplace. Then, seeing these pics, one comes to realize that the posted 23 November shots were during some kind of event. I thought it might be some kind of May Day festival but the people seem to be dressed in heavy coats.
The above photos have no symbolism to be seen. Both sets were taken in Berlin during 1937. It's interesting, seems that there were two Berlins - the one put up for show, and the one that carried on without all the hype.
