Thanks for memories! NYC was smaller and more personal then but it was ten times more alive than it is today. There were hundreds more restaurants, clubs, shops.... I remember one devoted entirely to angles of every description. Another was exclusively peacock feathers. Fancy and crummy neighborhoods. I wasn't all persteen. But it didn't have to be. It was an authentic, unique city. Now it's gone. Just chain stores and generic everything. So I'm grateful to you for these pictures. And grateful that I lived here in the 70's and 80's
