Clearly there is an elegance there that has been lost!
In those days both boys and girls dressed to show respect to those around them rather than dressing for personal ease or comfort. We have lost something at the higher level

I remember those days as if they were yesterday. There were literally panties everywhere, whether at school or at McDonalds. Alas, those days are never coming back.

I entered High School in September of 1967, I thought I was in heaven with the beautiful girls and their short dresses and skirts. I feel so sad for the lads now.

When I was in Junior High and High School it was 1970-76. 1970 and 1971 was the height of how short a dress or skirt could get. The girls in school and the young teachers. They couldn't even lean over a bit without showing the bottom of their white panty briefs. And when they did completely bend over you got entire view of their panties under their pantyhose. Had one girl I remember to this day in 8th grade that sat in front of me. She would always tuck her legs under her butt and when she was talking to the girl sitting in front of her, she would completely lean over and give me a great show.

I was in high school 1969-1972 and the mini skirts kept getting shorter and shorter and the pantyhose sexier and sexier. At first girls wore the light tan and beige stockings then the darker tan, browns and dark browns, black and white. Early years they wore the control panel stockings with the much darker panty swen in. Then the really sexy sheer to the waist pantyhose as the skirts had got so short you could see the dark panel. I was a photographer on my schools annual staff and still have boxes of B&W photos of girls including cheerleaders in super short skirts and pantyhose. I’ll tell you it was hard to concentrate in class when you had a hot girl with her skirt up to the waistband of the pantyhose. The ultimate view in my opinion. Many days I had a hard time standing up in class or doing a photo shoot.
