Marina Schiano (1941–2019) was an Italian model, muse, and fashion journalist. Starting her career in Milan as a teenager, she became a renowned model, appearing in numerous international fashion magazines, including
Vogue. She was particularly known for being a muse to designers like Yves Saint Laurent.
Beyond modeling, Schiano held significant roles in the fashion industry. She served as Vice-President for North America for Yves Saint Laurent and later as Creative Style Director for Vanity Fair magazine. She was also a talented photographer and a jewelry designer. Schiano's influence spanned decades, making her a true icon of the fashion world.
