Lilyan Tashman (1896–1934) was an American actress celebrated for her sophisticated style and sharp supporting roles in silent and early sound films.
Born in Brooklyn, Tashman began in vaudeville and on Broadway before moving to Hollywood in the early 1920s. Known as one of the best-dressed women on screen, she specialized in glamorous, witty characters that perfectly suited the spirit of the Jazz Age.
