Barbara Bouchet is a German-American actress and businesswoman, born on August 15, 1943, in Reichenberg, Sudetenland (now Liberec, Czech Republic). After World War II, her family relocated to the United States, where she later began her career in entertainment. Starting as a model and television personality, she transitioned into acting in the 1960s.
Bouchet appeared in American films like Casino Royale (1967), but she found greater success in Italy, becoming a popular figure in the 1970s Italian cinema scene. She starred in a variety of genres, particularly in giallo thrillers, comedies, and crime dramas, including notable titles like Don’t Torture a Duckling (1972) and The Red Queen Kills Seven Times (1972).
In addition to her film career, Bouchet became a successful entrepreneur in Italy. She opened a fitness studio in Rome and released health and exercise-related books and videos.
