“The shoot was for Ongaku Senka, the Japanese magazine that I collaborated from Los Angeles from 1975 to 1980. Kumi Mizuno was their staff writer, and in this occasion she did the interview. Debbie Harris didn’t want to be photographed, as she wasn’t feeling well, but she asked me to come back the following afternoon.“Bruce Springsteen was staying there and the band went nuts when they saw him getting a soda by the pool, and they scattered. Debbie stayed with me and gave me these delicious poses.”
