Born 1942 in Constantine, French actress France Anglade grew up in Chalons-sur-Marne. She came to spend a holiday with an aunt in Chelles in 1958 where director Jean Delannoy made the external shots for his film Guinguette (1959) with Zizi Jeanmaire. Subsequently, she moved to Paris where she took fashion and advertising photos with Geneviève Grad for the magazine Elle, then launched herself as an actress.

Anglade died 2014 at the age of 72, of natural causes.
