Women in Early Color Photography: 41 Stunning Pictures of Edwardian Beauties From Between the 1900s and 1910s

Color photography was attempted beginning in the 1840s. But widely known with the Autochrome Lumière, an early color photography process that patented in 1903 by the Lumière brothers in France and first marketed in 1907.


It was the principal color photography process in use before the advent of subtractive color film in the mid-1930s.
