The Most Racist Vintage Ads

African-Americans, Mexicans, Scots, Chinese, Japanese, Native Americans — it’s a melting pot of stereotypes. 1910 — 1976.

  1. I think that a lot of those ads aren't really racist at all. It's just that our times are very politically correct, and everyone is afraid to mention anything about race. Even some of the more provocative of those ads are more in good humor (though it may seem offensive nowadays) rather than outright racism.

    1. The bit about tipping mostly.

Yeah, what an unfair stereotype that is. Ask anyone in the service industry. They'll be the first to tell you that black people just LOVE tipping.
