Miss Blackman was also a 3rd Dan in traditional Jiu jitsu, but this was downplayed because she could really seriously injure or kill a man, so they made her sound more tame as a mere brown belt in judo.
Check out the March 1967 issue of Judo Illustrated with Honor Blackman on the cover showing how to break an attacker's arm. Sensei Blackman taught at the London School of Judo and was way more than a Brown Belt (at least a 3rd Degree Blqck Belt in Jiu Jitsu). Her throws were superb, whether done in Gi or in long blouse over a skirt.
Honor Blackman was extremely skilled in Judo and Jujitsu and her throws were designed to break a man's back. Even most advanced male Black Belts were terrified of her because they saw the damage she could do. She showed no mercy.
She is so totally kick-ass, I remember the Avengers.
