Most photos taken in the 70's were in color, how is that rare? Cool pix tho.

IT would be nice it you credited the photographers rather than just ripping them off. Many of the images are MINE! http://www.rchrd.com/photo/archives/new_york/new_york_city/
And taking color photos in the 60s was not rare at all.

You have ripped off the photographer and used his images without permission or even credit. That is theft.

    A: Credit the photographer
B: What is "rare" about color photographs from the '70s? Fun fact: we even had electricity way back then.
    C: Credit the photographer.

  5. On the rare or not in 60s and 70s: This depends where one lived and how much they chose to spend on colour film. Outside of the US, it was the 'norm' to buy black and white film, due to its price and the price of the photo development. So yea, I would not characterize it as the norm to shoot in colour at the time. Photographers, depending on their intended artistic impact, would of course use colour. Regular folks not so much. I am not of the N.A. region; my family and friends did not use colour film in those decades. My uncle, however, an avid photo enthusiast, did.
