Halloween is a 1978 American independent slasher horror film directed and scored by John Carpenter, co-written with producer Debra Hill, and starring Donald Pleasence and Jamie Lee Curtis in her film debut. The film was the first installment in what became the Halloween franchise.
The plot is set in the fictional Midwestern town of Haddonfield, Illinois. On Halloween night in 1963, a six-year-old Michael Myers murders his older sister by stabbing her with a kitchen knife. Fifteen years later, he escapes from a psychiatric hospital, returns home, and stalks teenager Laurie Strode and her friends. Michael's psychiatrist Dr. Sam Loomis suspects Michael's intentions, and follows him to Haddonfield to try to prevent him from killing.

YanıtlaSilIt was in Poland that the largest number of Jews was saved by gentiles even though it was the only country where the death sentence was mandatory for gentiles sheltering Jews. Why not turn your bile onto the French, Dutch or Norwegians who gleefully turned Jews in to be murdered by the Germans ? Alternatively, look at the Western Allies who turned a blind eye to information about the Holocaust sent to them by the Polish underground authorities.
YanıtlaSilPerhaps it was Jewish collaborators who "gleefully" betrayed their fellow Jews to the Germans. The Polish underground executed or flogged Polish collaborators. The Jewish collaborators who survived the war lived with impunity in the US or Israel. Some of them are still alive.

YanıtlaSilKraken, you have no right to make such a blatant, sweeping, insensitive and historically incorrect slur on the victimised, oppressed, occupied Poles of WWII, without supplying an independent historical record. As they say, "Put up, or Shut up".
YanıtlaSilYes, Poland saved numerically most Jews but not statistically. Holland saved more Jews than Poland, almost same amount but a much smaller nation. And of course Poles gleefully turned Jewish fellow citizens to the Germans for sugar and vodka. Some Poles murdered their fellow Jews and there is substantive research done in Poland on this subject.

And returning to "gleefull", I'm sure that the brave patriots who killed collaborators with the Soviet Occupation were very happy to do this. Why were so many of the collaborators Jews? I would love to find an explanation for this.
YanıtlaSilA VERY interesting statement, taking into account fact that almost entire Jewish population in Poland under German occupation was at first put into isolated ghettos and heavily guarded not only by Germans but also by Jewish ghetto police and then transfered to conentration camps. Any unauthorised contact with ghetto inhabitants meant just death. Those who survived were those who were given help and shelter by Poles. Despite the very fact it was a worst criminal offence for which Germans immediately executed WHOLE families, including children.Think about it.
