Rare Vintage Photos of Life Around the Madeira River, Between Bolivia and Brazil, from 1908-1911

The Madeira River is a major waterway in South America, approximately 3,250 km long and one of the biggest tributaries of the Amazon.

Life of the so called "Rubber Barons" around 1908-1911 on the banks of the River Madeira at the border between Bolivia and Brazil was documented through these amazing photos probably by Swiss photographer Dr. Bauler.
