Postwar Glamour: Vivid Color Fashion Shots by Genevieve Naylor From 1946 to 1956

Genevieve Naylor, born in 1915 in Massachusetts, and moved to New York at the age of 18, where she took up photography. Photography being to her first a passion and then a blooming career, Naylor became one of the first female photographers to be hired by the Associated Press.

Fashion photography became her thing after the war, when she was commissioned a number of shootings for names the likes of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. And this is how today we can enjoy some stunning fashion photography from the 1940s, courtesy of Genevieve Naylor.
