Stalin's Soviet Union Tourism Advertisements for Foreigners in 1930s

The early 1930s saw closer cooperation between the West and the USSR. Over the past two decades, used to believe that Stalin's Soviet Union was a tightly closed country. The author of this collection, David Levine, says that “Russia in the period before the mid 1930s employed some brilliant graphic design in its arts, propaganda and newspapers and magazines”.
