30 Rare Color Photographs From The Beatles' Very Last Photo Shoot at Tittenhurst Park, August 1969

On August 22nd 1969, The Beatles got together at John Lennon's estate in Tittenhurst Park for their final photo session. Nobody knew at the time that this would be the last one.
“It was just a photo session. I wasn't there thinking, Okay, this is the last photo session.” – Ringo Starr
The Beatles' very last photo shoot took place here, with one of the many images from that session appearing on the cover of the Hey Jude album (released in 1970 in the US and 1979 in the UK). It was caught by the cameras of American photographer Ethan Russell, veteran Daily Mail man Monty Fresco, and the Beatles' assistant Mal Evans.

Some amateurish film footage was also shot on this day. John and George donned wide-brimmed cowboy hats. Yoko Ono Lennon and a pregnant Linda McCartney appeared in some of the photographs too.
